Reception Agenda

The wedding reception is when the party begins.  It’s a time to enjoy yourself and a time to relax a little.  You have the the ceremony and the pictures completed so now you can chill.  But there’s still a lot to do.  There are many special events that take place at your reception.  Events like:

  • First Dance
  • Father Daughter Dance
  • Mother Son Dance
  • Toast
  • Money Dance
  • Cake Cutting
  • Bouquet Toss
  • Garter Toss
  • Farewell Dance

There could be many other special moments that make up your reception.  The last thing you want to do is worry about them.

When planning the reception, we work with our couples to put together a list of special events and times they should occur.  This serves as the guide for the evening.  Using our years of experience, we help to develop the agenda to make sure it flows well and allows plenty of time for each event.

Of course, it goes without saying that the night never flows exactly as you want it to.  The couple can arrive late from the picture session, the first course can get delayed, a special guest can be missing when it’s time for the toast or first dance.  These things can happen but they don’t have to be the end of the world.

When taking care of the evening we work closely with the couple, photographer, videographer, maître d’, wedding coordinator and anyone else we need to in order to help keep the evening flowing smoothly.  The main goal is to keep thing reception moving forward and keeping the bride and groom happy and worry free.

Things can happen.  But that’s where our years of experience will help make sure your evening flows smoothly no matter what so you can have a fun, memorable and worry-free reception.
